Durr Holds Blood Drive
HARAHAN, LA (August 7, 2009) –
Over 60 employees, contractors, suppliers and friends of Durr turned out in full force at today’s blood drive for the young daughter of Durr’s north shore estimator, Lonnie Reynolds.
Camille, who was 7 months old when she was diagnosed with leukemia this summer, is in need of blood transfusions as part of her treatment at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans.
“When we found out about Camille’s diagnosis, we knew we had to do something to help,” said event organizer, Kristen Nicholson. “I was very pleased with the turnout, and doubly glad we were able to raise 54 pints of blood for Camille.”
